Title : Uncertainties, unpredictalities and marginalizatio: The impact and matigation for survival of agriculture and humanity
Short Abstract : The worst hit sector due to the brunt of climate change has been the agriculture and rural livelihood. For South East Asia , it has been further worsened due to unpredictable market, fragile income and dwindling scope of agrarian livelihood. Farmers by millions are migratating from agricultural occupation in favour of non-farm occupation . Occupational migration and territorial migration, due to both push and pull factor, has made the situation more marginalized and uncertain ,across economic terrains .
Long Abstract :

Agriculture and livestocks are generally managed in an open air ecosystem in many parts of Asia. So, these are vulanerable to an array of shocks and undulations. The uncertainties in rural agriculture based livelihoods are associated with unpredictable weathe, market and income. For the farmers of  South East Asian countries , it has been a common phenomenato pass through and confront woth a sharp binary of contraction. The year it has been a golden harvest , the farmers are deprived of remunerative prices. The produces are branded as 'glut', the demand goes inelatic and  market prices go down ruthlessly. It's a rhetoric that heavy production and poor returns are clinically linked to usher marginalization of farmers. So , they are quitting agriculture and rushing for off farm occupations.  The panel is highly focused to elicit and derive the reasons, processes and fall outs of uncertaities, associated with market, weather, income and livelihood ,  inflicting into both the social and psychic ecology of millions across the social , cultural and economic terrains. How could our farmers ensure food and nutritional security when their own income is uncertain and unpredictable either. The polici issues and methodological dimension in estimating ans calibrating uncertainties , both perceived and empirical uncertainties, would be put under intellectual and real data srutiny and conceptualization. Marginalizations are eroding our society not only of economocic capability and empowerment, rather a prolong and unattended motivational starvation will lead to the entire diasporas to an unmangeable entropy. The ecological and resource marginalization due to extortive agriculture have become invasive to pollute, contaminate and disrupt music and rythm of ecology. The ecological disruption and pertubation have got a persistent and protractile consequences of society-soil-culture including very survival of human and non-human life forms. The panel draws upon  pedagogy of farmers.
