The people around the globe make use of the opportunities of digital technology in accordance with its advancement and innovations. Tribal communities are not an exception to this. This study is an attempt to understand the role of digital technology and its innovative approaches in the day-to-day life of Kadar, one among the five Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) of Kerala. The ethnographic fieldwork was conducted among the Kadar of Shasthampoovam forests, which comes under Mattathur panchayath of Thrissur district of Kerala and data was collected mainly through observation, interviewing and case study methods. The generational perspectives of the community members towards the use of digital technology were collected through their narratives. It is observed that the community members make use of the digital technology in their life for different needs like managing livelihood, education, health, communication and transportation with different strategies. The study argues that contrary to common belief, the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group like Kadar is also capable of developing their own strategies to make use of innovative digital technology in their life.
