It analyzes the historical development of education in the country and the current state of education, including issues related to access, quality, and equity. The paper examines how education can both contribute to and alleviate marginality, and argues that while education has the potential to promote positive change, it can also reinforce existing inequalities. The paper concludes by calling for a more nuanced and critical approach to education policy and practice in Algeria.
Long Abstract
:

In Algeria, the relationship between education and marginality is complex and multifaceted. Marginality refers to the state of being at the margins of society, excluded from the mainstream and lacking access to resources, opportunities, and power. Education, on the other hand, is often seen as a means to promote social mobility, economic growth, and national development. However, the link between education and marginality is not straightforward, and the Algerian context presents several challenges and paradoxes.

This paper aims to explore the relationship between education and marginality in Algeria, taking into account the historical, political, and social factors that shape this dynamic. It will draw on a range of literature, including policy documents, academic articles, and empirical studies, to provide a nuanced and critical analysis of the issues at hand.

The paper will begin by examining the historical context of education in Algeria, tracing the development of the education system from colonial times to the present day. It will then explore the current state of education in Algeria, including issues related to access, quality, and equity. The paper will also examine the ways in which education can both contribute to and alleviate marginality, looking at the role of education in promoting social inclusion, economic growth, and political empowerment.

Finally, the paper will conclude with a critical reflection on the challenges and opportunities that education presents in the context of marginality in Algeria. It will argue that while education has the potential to be a powerful force for positive change, it can also perpetuate and reinforce existing power structures and inequalities. The paper will conclude by calling for a more nuanced and critical approach to education policy and practice, one that takes into account the complex interplay between education, marginality, and social change in Algeria.
