<p>The COVID-19 pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 remains a significant issue for global health, economics, and society. All over the globe people were affected, and it has exacerbated preexisting mental health disparities. In India, marginalization based on caste membership, gender, and rural residence are critical determinants of inequity across the lifespan. The Dalit or Scheduled caste as the worst victim untouchables add unfortunate bunches of social economy and cultural inequality Dalit women are oppressed at three front that is a discrete patriarchy of their cast and overlapping patriarchy of the upper caste plus the poverty which further bring down them in the social hierarchy maintained by Indian society, Due to overburden of domestic work, economic challenge, managing the health care of a family member, lack of social interaction have increased stress to them. This research was conducted to see the impact of COVID-19 on the daily life of scheduled caste with a total population of 89733 in the Shahdol district, from which a total no 44166 of females. The study is based on descriptive research design using the mixed method, The universe of the population is taken from Dhanpuri town of Shahdol district which is known for its coal mines. With a total Schedules Caste women population of 2168, a sample size of 108 women informants is taken samples from women of age 20 – 40 years which constitute five percent of the women taken from the schedule caste population of the universe. Tools and techniques for data collection are schedule, observation, FDG, and case study methods. the result shows a significant disruption in livelihood options and economic used to collect data, the result shows a significant disruption in livelihood options and economic conditions of scheduled cast women that leads to a high-level pf psychological distress among these women.</p> <p> </p>
