The COVID-19 epidemic has had a significant impact on people's mental health and well-being all across the world. The purpose of this study is to assess the levels of anxiety associated with COVID-19 among higher educated girls in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Understanding the anxiety levels of higher education students in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh's capital city, is critical for designing suitable treatments and support systems. To collect data, this study used a quantitative technique with a standardised survey questionnaire. Purposive sampling was used to choose the participants, who were girls enrolled at higher education institutes in Lucknow City. The survey questionnaire included standardised anxiety assessment items, such as the COVID-19 Anxiety Scale (CAS), as well as demographic and background data. The survey data were analysed using descriptive statistics such as means, frequencies, and percentages to determine the prevalence and severity of COVID-19 anxiety among higher educated girls in Lucknow City. In addition, correlation analysis and t-tests were used to investigate the association between anxiety levels and various demographic characteristics. The findings of this study will provide light on the specific anxiety difficulties that higher education girls confront in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic. The findings are expected to lead to the development of tailored therapies and support services to reduce anxiety and improve the mental well-being of this vulnerable population.
