The COVID-19 pandemic has made things difficult for archaeologists. Like Travel restrictions, site closures, and safety concerns mean they can't do things the way they used to. So, they developed new ways to use digital tools to study and preserve important artifacts

They are using things and modern technology like drones and 3D modelling to survey sites and get a better idea of what there. They are also having virtual meetings to connect with each other and access resources like archives and museums. These new methods mean researchers can keep working while staying safe during the pandemic. They are also helping to expand our understanding of the past and find new ways to protect our cultural heritage. In the future, they keep using digital tools and remote research to make archaeology more sustainable and resilient.This paper is an attempt to study challenges archaeology is facing in post-covid India.
