An understanding of a methodological framework must necessarily map the strategies involved in the process of doing research. Much of the importance while teaching and doing research is given to the actual process of collection of data and strategies employed. But seldom do we discuss and emphasize on the complex ethical issues for the nature of research that pertains to personal interaction with individuals and communities
Long Abstract
:

In research, it is generally desirable that participants be made completely aware of the aims as well as objectives of the research followed by procuring a proper informed consent. The issues get complex when one is approaching a sensitive field.  The present paper thus aims at discussing the primary importance of ethics in research and issues that follow when the field is highly sensitive. Much of the references for the same comes from one’s own methodological reflections from the field of commercial Surrogacy- a quite controversial and contested area- the access to such a field was highly restricted and guarded.
