Religious rituals and spiritual practices play an important role in people's lives. According to a study conducted by Save the Children on the importance of religious rituals in society, it concluded that: religious and spiritual practices, as well as belief in a higher power, are of great importance, In addition, religious practices create a community based on affiliation and interdependence, where people can share their experiences and find comfort, especially in times of disaster where religious rituals were present as ways of managing disasters and crises and mitigating its severity. And during the spread of the "Covid-19" pandemic in the world, and the health emergency that caused it As a result, religious institutions found themselves forced to adapt religious rituals to the new phase, which imposed social divergence and digital worship, and individuals found themselves forced to take refuge in emergency rituals, and produce certain religious ideas and practices through the digital space, with the aim of managing their fears, and supporting each other spiritually, Above all, that Italy has been one of the most affected European countries, and in this intervention, we will try to shed light on the most important emergency rituals that members of Italian society have resorted to during the different stages of the development of the pandemic on social networking sites Facebook and Twitter, and to understand how to discuss religious practices, how people share their religious experiences, and how people engage with their religious communities during a pandemic
