Short Abstract
:
In anthropological fieldwork, the presentation of culture is multimodal. Ethnic costumes, for example, are not only practical clothes, beautiful styles and patterns, but also a visual text that "writes" the history and social rules of the community in a non-written form. The presentation of anthropological field practice and research can also be multimodal. Such practices make certain social and cultural phenomena easier to understand and share with society within the framework of multimodal anthropology, and also promote anthropological scholarship out its exclusive circles and self-reflection. Such anthropological practices and reflections provide more possibilities for anthropologists to broaden their research horizons, translate their research results, actively participate in field community affairs, and take on more social responsibilities.
