Short Abstract
:
Indigenous species, non-timber or medicinal plants, are associated with culture of tribals. Mostly they use and consume for their daily self-requirement. In few cases they sell their meager surplus products to earn their nominal income in the local market. After intiation of participatory forestry, various kinds of interventions like institutional, technological and markets took place as the safety net of their livelihoods. Attempt has been made to discuss this in Anthropological perspectives in Middle India.
