Modernity encompasses multiple possibilities from the beginning and exhibits a diverse growth trend. This diversity has become increasingly prominent in international modernization. The typical definition of western modernity is no longer the only criterion, which is inseparable from the unique social history conditions and cultural traditions of each nation and country.
Taking the Tsaka Salt Lake of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau as the site of this field research, this paper links the mobility and modernity of people and materials with its symbiotic relationship with the ecological environment, discusses the diversified narrative and actions of modernity in different regions, and proves that modernity is not a single model or a standard with the theory of Chinese path to modernization.
Modernity of each country, region and ethnic group should be determined by satisfaction and happiness of its people and the state of ecological balance. In the current era of frequent global mobility, uncertainty has become the norm. However, the modernity of each ethnic group's culture lies in providing diverse modernity cases to problematize the uncertainties, and making efforts to build a community with a shared future for mankind.
